TECHNOLOGY'S GROWING ROLE IN CONSTRUCTION
The growing trend of using mobile technology and remote access in place of traditional paper-based project management methods is fully in line with the Michigan Department of Transportation’s (MDOT) E-Construction initiative. The E-Construction initiative strives to incorporate various digital technologies into MDOT business/construction operations so that cost savings, efficiency gains, and other benefits are realized.  HDM is well-versed in MDOT’s technological requirements, including electronic bidding, electronic construction files, digital signatures, and electronic filing systems.  HDM can provide organizations with in-depth training on the MDOT platform, answer questions, provide advice, or even take on the role of being a remote access project manager.

HENDGES DIVERSIFIED MANAGEMENT IS DIFFERENT
Hendges Diversified Management is not a consulting service.  It is a DOING service.  HDM has a simple, straight-forward approach to operating: find out what a company needs help with and provide assistance in that specific area.  The HDM business model is to step in, complete the tasks required by a client, and step out.  This approach removes the extraneous costs that have become synonymous with traditional consulting services, which often spend a lot of time and money trying to understand their client’s business prior to offering any sort of service.

HDM strives to bring simplicity back to organizations by implementing tangible solutions to problems rather than offering abstract ideas that are difficult or costly to implement.  HDM's unconventional approach to project management works because Heather has the working knowledge and real-world experience needed to take on multiple roles and tasks on an as-needed basis.  Organizations benefit from having someone who is available to handle the details without having to allocate payroll to keeping a full time project manager on staff.
